Hi all,
Hope you are doing well. Its March and the start of numerous challenges. I have started my month with a simple and sober card which perfectly defines colors and yes the Spring - the blooming season.
So, I first started with Brustro Water Color Papers ( I love the pale off white color of the paper as i dont want it to be complete white). Then i took a scrap and I masked it making an alignment.
Then I started with mini Color box Pigment ink (green) and my all time favourite - We R Memory Keepers : Autumn Sayings stamp, and chose the leaf design.
I didnt think of the perfection this time and whatever it came instantly i just stamped on. And how can I forget Hero arts CS118 Kids Scented Ink Pad Bundle. I also used Itsy Bitsy Butterflies Clear stamp for the tiny flowers and leaves. I did almost all the ink colors that I could. :) After the random stamping, I lifted the scrap paper used for masking, and see how it looks.
I finished the coloring with sketch pens by Faber Castle and added the sentiment by Heidi swapp. (yes I have added my hand lettering too :P )
I have also added some 3D Fevicryl cone outlining for the drops.
For the tag, I repeated the same method and again the sentiment stamping by heidi swapp; finished it up with Lawn Fawn Bakery twines.
P.S.:- I added washi tapes inside matching it up with the floral design :)
Take a final look
I hope you liked it.
I would like to attach it for
1. Peek-a-boo Designs - March challenge.
2. Paru's card making challenges
3. A blog named Hero

DeleteWow, such a great explosion of colors here and wonderful technique. We are so blessed with your participation in our previous Challenge and would love to have you back for our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I want to share with you the inspiration of God's Word from Habakkuk 2:3-4 and it says, " For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. “See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness---." Have an awesome week!
