Come Rain or Shine -2

Hi all,

With the previous designs made from Jane's Doodles Rain or shine stamp set, I made another card for the Simon says wednesday challenge.

I applied the same masking technique, and this time instead of red and yellow hue I made this on blue which goes perfectly with the cloud background.

The sentiments go perfectly with the theme.

I hope you like it.

Come Rain or Shine

Hey all,

This week Simon Wednesday Challenge of Come rain or shine just gave me kick start to make a card asap. I was playing with the Jane's Doodles Rain or shine stamp set and numerous ideas came storming in my mind. I am sharing a few with you today.

As the challenge is all about Rain or shine, so i made different cards to show.

This set has already become my most fav. :D
so i used this make my own version of sun-Shine.

I applied the Masked technique for the clouds from the same stamp set and yes the sentiments too.

I would also like to share one more card for the wednesday challenge:

Masked Rainbow Card with Jane's Doodle

Hi all,

I have been experimenting with the same set of Jane's Doodle - Rain or Sunshine, And finally I settled down with the following one!

I made the clouds from the stamp set by masking it and making layers, and embossed it.

I made the background with the rainbow colors using Transparent colors folios.

All the other elements from the same set and its done!

Chrysanthemum

Hey all,

Today I am experimenting with the Chrysanthemum design by peek-a-boodesigns and I just loved the design. The stamped images are clear and crisp, leaving a fabulous design.

I started with stamp the stripes with Itsy bitsy stamps and embossed it with gold.
Then masked it from three sides and applied black pigment ink for stripes, but at the end I was  not happy with the inks alone that is why I finished it off with some acrylic paint.

Meanwhile, I stamped Chrysanthemum flowers, embossed it and colored in two different hues. Placed these flowers on to the cards and used the sentiments from the Lotus Delight by Peek-a-Boo designs.
Take a final look:)

At the end I added some glitter :) and Its done!

I am Coo-Coo for u

Hello Everyone,

My third post for the day.

I have received one 'You're Tweet' stamp set from Jillibean Soup, Hampton Art.
The images are too cute to resist yourself to try with.

SO, I started with the birdie images, stamped them , embossed them with semi dull clear powder and fussy cut them alongwith the sentiments.

Now, this time I have used some synthetic grasses to create an effect of the grass on the background, it looks a lil messy but it cant b replaced with anything else ;) , lined it up with the washi tapes.

And its done! Take a final look:)
I hope you like this new project.

Jane's Doodle, rain or shine

Hey all,

Its been few days that I have not done crafting but it seems its been years *sigh*

Before I get engrossed into a big painting thats waiting for me to complete, I want to experiment more with the cards. :)

Seeing the DT posts for Janes doodles, I wanted to try my hand onto the sets. As I am just a few months old in this crafting world, these sets gave me the ultimate joy to experiment more *happy*

So I am starting with a new post for a new card.

I took the Jane's Doodle Rain or shine stamp set (for which I have gone mad :D ) and stamped with Versamark and finished it with black embossing.

Coloured the images with my all time favourite Fuji colors.
(I am sure this name is creating much anticipation among the crafters :D )

And yes, did the fussy cut. I have coloured the background in blue from the same folios and stamped raindrops from the same stamp set using distress inks. And completed the background with Spun sugar distress ink.

I must agree to the fact, this whole set is a fab <3
Take a look

A Simple Birthday Card

Hey all,

Today I have experimented again with the Peek-a-Boo's Quilted love stamp. Actually I have fallen in love with this design. That's so perfect for a background.

I have taken a piece of Red Cardstock and stamped on with Peek-a-Boo's Quilted Love, finished it with white embossing.

Placed it keeping a gap in between and filled the same with skeleton leaves (#first time used) and a wired Butterfly mesh. The sentiments are stamped with Heidi Swapp.
Thats it. And It's done!

Have a look.
I hope you liked this simple and easy to make card.

Onset of spring

Hi there,

This canvas measures 18inches*16inches. Medium used acrylic only.

Spring love

Hi all,

Today I would like to post something other than card which I have tried in my leisure time.

That's a bottle.

A blue bottle which is commonly found. I have experimented it with acrylic colors and tried to give it a nice hue matching with the blue color of the blue and yes not covering the serene color of the bottle itself. And I have covered the top of the bottle with glitter laces.

Take a look.

Flutter design : Card + Tag

Hey all,

After my second post for this month , an experiment with the transparent colors, I decided to use the same for my third post for the month.

An easy making card with the transparent colors.

I started off the Fuji colors and giving it a water wash effect, leaving a little area for the sentiments to stamp on.

I have used two die cuts of butterfly designs in black and stamped on with Heidi swapp and did my own hand lettering too.

I made a tag also but this time a little different from the card design. I have used Bo Bunny Flutter design and perforated tapes to border it. For the sentiments I have used the AF345 Intense Black .

And here is the final look:)

Let's play with colors: card+Tag+Bookmark

Hey there,

I hope all my crafty friends have spent the weekend well :) I am here with a new experiment that goes with the season of colors.

For my weekend, I kept a set of three to experiment with- a card, a tag and a bookmark.

I first started with a card stock made of ivory paper and cut out a heart to mask it. After I made the heart stick with a tape I dug into my Fuji color stripes. These colors are so cheap, only for 30/- and being a Geography student I have been using it from years.

For this I have picked as many colors that I could, different from one another and made a water color washed effect. After it got dried I lifted up the masked heart and painted it black with my hand lettering on to it.

I have used Kaisercraft decorative Tape pieces stamp with different ink colors and complimented with bakery twine by Hampton Art.

For the tag and the bookmark I repeated the same technique of giving it a water washed effect after masking it with small heart pieces of paper. I have used the AF345 Intense Black for the sentiments.
I used Avery Elle's Lots of love design for these which is my persona favorite and embossed it black.
