Science of love

Hello again,
This time I am sharing a card made with pattern papers. I never pattern papers as such. I redeemed my winning prize voucher from Lulupu craft lounge and bought a pack of pattern papers : My funny valentine by Pebbles for this valentine's day.

I chose one of the papers with Happy valentine's day written all over. I cut a die frame out of the Gina Marie designs in pink color (cardstock). I stamped some distress inks with the background stamp from Hero Arts. Then I sprayed pearl mist all over the circular die cut to give a translucent look.

It looks a cover of vellum over the stamped background with the effect of pearl mist. I stamped some images from Lawn Fawn's Science of love and colored them with Crayola markers which are not good as copics but yes they are the cheaper alternatives.

I took the sentiment from the same set. Here it goes:

Masked valentine's day card

Hello all,

This is another card i had made for my debut post in Mudra blog. I have used their products solely here in this post.

I first took a card stock and masked it with a die cut from Gina Marie designs heart shapes. Then I applied distress inks with blending foam. the colors I chose were Raspberry pink, Festive berries, Spiced marmalade. I did not blend that well. Ii splattered some water droplets with a paint brush and waited for the magic to create.

I stamped some hearts of different sizes from Mudra Clear Stamps - Heart Background Builder with White pigment ink.

I stamped the sentiment from Mudra Clear Stamps - Love set and the letter 'u' from Brushed alphas.

I ended it with a glitter sheet border. Thats it!

Gateway card

Hello,

Here is a another card which I made in minutes. I took the Heart of Gold set from Neat and Tangled and stamped it on a White Cardstock with Versamark.

Then I embossed the same with gold embossing powder from Ranger.

I colored the sections of the image with distress inks leaving some sections in white for the contrast.
I die cut the same with the coordinating Die from Neat and Tangled.

The I took a red card stock and folded in three parts. I ran through an embossing folder from We r memory keepers (geometric) to give the effect.

I stamped the sentiment from Lots of love by Avery alle with Black archival ink on a vellum.

Welcome the otters

Hello again,

Here is another card which i made in a jiffy. I have used Hero arts triangles back ground stamp to create a distressed background.

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the otter fro MFT.
I have used the Neat and Tangled set of Heart of gold for the die, stamp and the sentiment.

It is always fun to create shaker cards. I found the heart from Neat and Tangled to be a perfect element for shaker cards. To match up the sentiment, I added some tiny heart die cuts from glitter sheets. The stamped and colored hearts are from the Heart Background builder from Mudra Craft stamps.
I finished the card with some enamel dots.

Heart of Gold

Hello there,

Today's second card on the blog. I had bought this set of Heart of Gold from Neat and Tangled and I immediately fell in love with the set. I did not get tired of stamping with the same again and again and this single image of the triangled-heart is way too gorgeous!

I stamped randomly on a CS and embossed them with gold. I colored them with Distress inks. The sentiment is from the Avery Alle.

This is a much simple card which probably doesn't need any rules to follow or any tip as such needed. Just a tip: be careful while stamping with Versamark so that you do not overlap them anywhere keeping the gaps more or less uniform.

Watercolor craze!

Hello all,

Today i am gonna share one card that I made for my debut post in Mudra'a blog (you can find the link in my earlier post)

when it comes to water color I go gaga over Fuji or transparent colors, not only they come at a really cheap price of 75 INR only but also they last long, water proof and rich in their results!

This time I decided to cut my time really short for card making. I took a Brushto 250gsm watercolor cardstock and ran my wet brushes with Light Blue, Light Green and Yellow colors from the folios over the CS.

I decided to let t dry on its own rather going for heat drying. I stamped images from the Beautiful sets from Mudra that you can find here
I used the Banner Trio dies from W9plus for the sentiment.

I completed the sentiment with the Mudra Clear Stamps - Brushed Alphas. This is a versatile one with which you can create any sentiment of your own choice.

I completed the card with borders of glitter sheets.

Water colored peek a boo

Hello Gorgeous,

Today I am sharing a card that I had made for the Debut post of Mudra craft stamps.
You can check the full post here >>

I have used some stamps from Mudra like the Linen Blooms and Daisy blooms and colored them with Fuji or transparent water colors, I Love them as compared to Distress inks as they dont give a faded look afterwards, they are always bright!

I cut down the central part with Gina Marie circular stitched die and used the sentiment over it from Mudra again ( 'Love' set )

It's simple to do, Take a final look:

Slider cards

Hello all,

Inspired from Paru Mahtani who hosts wonderful monthly challenge (linked below), I tried my first slider card. And I must confess it was fun making it.

I tried with three stamps together:
1. Mudra craft stamps : Heart Background Builder
2. Hero Arts Background stamp
3. Lawn Fawn : Science of love

I stamped with the background stamp and embossed it with clear glossy embossing powder. Then I cut the circular panel with Gina Maria circle dies ( I must say these are great!)
Then I took the fussy cuts of the birds and adhered them on the sliding elements.

A super simple card with lots of fun! Take a look:
