Diwali Card 3

Hello everyone,

Today I have come up with the third card that I have made for Diwali this year. I am finding to make the diwali cards to be more fun than any other occasion!

I have used a stencil from The craftersworkshop and applied texture paste (homemade) , a normal white one. Then i ran over my versamark ink pad over the raised surface lightly and sprinkled gold embossing powders on it. After taking this through Heat embossing, this came out with a gold embossed raised surface but more shimmery than a gold texture paste!

I added some water color to cut down the monotonous look, as its Diwali! Blended some inks through the stencils. I cut down a diya and colored it. The sentiment is from Peek-A Boo diwali stamp set! The stamp set has loads of diwali greetings both in English and Hindi. Indian friends can look over to it for the Hindi Greetings.

Diwali Card 2

Hello all,

Here I come up with my second card for diwali.

I tired to create a simple card for this diwali with lots of embossing.

I had stamped flowers from Timbers Clair's Clear stamps  with gold, silver and yes black to bring the contrast.
I blended some red and orange colors from distress ink shades and again sprinkled some gold, silver and black embossing powders randomly and heat embossed all together.

I hope you can see the shine! Meanwhile I stamped Indian Motifs from PABD stamp set and blended blue and olive green inks and cut out diyas . I made the flames by cutting and coloring manually.

For the panel at the right side I first stamped Fancy flourish from Mudra stamps and then embossed it with an embossing folder.

I hope this card pleases everyone :)

Diwali Card 1

Hellooo all,

Its been a long time I have crafted anything, I was stuck in my designs for companies and hectic schedules! *sigh*

The festive season is on with the Navratri and Durga Puja now and upcoming diwali.

So, for diwali I have made few cards, out of them I am showing only one as of now.

This is the first card I am sharing with you for diwali. I have used PABD stamps for this card : Its Plaid time, Lotus Delight, Flower motifs.

I have sponged the different sections with water color. I have embossed it with gold and white. The color combination is well suited for festive season. Indian festives have bright colors all around; so, the more bright it is the more merrier!
